Jim N' Nicks was born, as far as we know, in Alabama and has spread across the Southeast. Sometimes when you get a restaurant that chains out, it loses some flavor, but Jim N' Nicks seems to have kept producing good food. Plus, the restaurants are kept up well, so you don't have to go to a dive to get good barbecue.
The real draw from Jim N' Nicks, though, are the cheese "biscuits," which appear to be made out of some sort of corn-meal-based crack cocaine.
